The Ria Formosa, a world in itself
An internationally recognized wetland classified as a UNESCO Heritage Site, the Ria Formosa is a labyrinth of canals, islands, swamps and sandbanks, which extends over 60 km of the Algarve coastline.
For those who love the sun and the sea, you will find real paradises in the islands of the Ria Formosa. From west to east, the islands of Faro, Barreta, Culatra, Armona and Tavira follow one another, with vast, uncrowded sandy beaches.
It is the small fishing town of Olhão which allows you to live and access these wonderful places.

The story begins like this: long ago, the Barreta district in the small town of Olhao was inhabited by fishing and trading families.
The main catch in this little corner of the Algarve was octopus and sardines, which the fishing families dried on their terraced roofs.
Casa W Olhão is a group of magnificent fishermen's houses located in the heart of the Barreta district, in the historic center of Olhão.
They are called ALMIRANTE, JANEIRO or LIBERDADE.
They have been renovated and offer all the comforts you need to live, work or just enjoy the Saudade rhythm of this region. They are very comfortable and very well equipped.

We must meet all four criteria to obtain Superhost status.
The 4 criteria are as follows:
Maintain an overall rating of at least 4.8.
A response rate of at least 90%.
Accumulate 10 stays in the past year (or 100 nights spread over at least 3 bookings).
Maintain a cancellation rate of less than 1%.
Superhost evaluations take place 4 times a year (in January, April, July and October). Each time, your performance over the previous 365 days is evaluated.
