Casa W Olhão – LIBERDADE is one of the three eco-friendly fisherman’s houses of the Casa W Olhão concept, located in the historic and pedestrian district of Barreta, in the heart of Olhão. This bright, single-level house features a large 70 m² rooftop terrace, a leafy courtyard, a fully equipped kitchen, and a separate home office. It has been designed for the comfort of 2 guests.

Layout of the house

Ground floor: entrance hall with cement tile flooring, leading to a private dressing room with windows and a dedicated work desk.
One bedroom with a 160x200 cm bed and natural light.
Bathroom with walk-in shower, double sink, toilet and window.
Living/dining room with sofa and dining area.
Fully equipped kitchen with glass door opening onto a small patio with an outdoor door.
In the patio: a magnificent 6-meter-tall palm tree and a spiral staircase leading to the rooftop.

Rooftop terrace: 70 m², landscaped, with shaded dining area under a pergola, lounge area, sun loungers, outdoor sink, fridge, plancha grill and washing machine.

Responsible renovation

The house has been restored using original materials and architectural features: cement tile floor, interior shutters, traditional ceilings, floral tiles, and a signature Olhão rooftop chimney.
Furnishings are either upcycled or made by local artisans.
Waste sorting, LED lighting, and eco cleaning products are provided.
Linens come from a historic Portuguese weaving mill.
Recycled paper products and reusable makeup remover pads in the bathroom.

Selection of teas and sugar.

You will receive three digital welcome guides before your arrival.
We welcome you in person. Flexible check-in time depending on your flight (subject to availability).
Check-out at 10:00. You may leave your luggage during cleaning if arranged in advance.

The tourist tax applied by the city of Olhão since June 19, 2023, will be collected in cash upon arrival: €10 per person per stay from April 1 to October 31, or €5 per person per stay from November 1 to March 31.
