Samuel Brongniart and Raphaël Soulié, co-founders of the family brand Casa W Olhão, come from backgrounds in tourism, hospitality, wellness and healthcare. Together, they imagined a new kind of travel experience — one that is intimate, authentic, and deeply personal. Their vision? To invite you to discover the Algarve through a new kind of hospitality.

Born in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, this concept emerged as a response to a shared desire for fresh air, open spaces, and a simpler, more grounded way to travel. People now seek freedom, autonomy, safety, and places that feel like home — with personalized service, access to nature, and human-scale comfort.

At Casa W Olhão, we offer an alternative to traditional hotels and soulless rentals: a fully renovated fisherman’s house, equipped with modern amenities, characterful design, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere — just steps from the sea.

We believe that how a place feels is just as important as what it offers. Every Casa W home is thoughtfully designed to be cozy, functional, and inspiring — whether you're here to relax, work remotely, or explore the treasures of the Ria Formosa.

Our goal is to recreate the spirit of a real family home, where every detail is curated to make you feel at ease:

• A beautiful tablecloth, locally sourced vintage tableware, candlesticks to set the mood for a dinner on the terrace — all with your favorite playlist on the Bluetooth speaker.

• In the kitchen: mineral water, a bottle of wine from a local vineyard, fresh fruit, coffee, teas and herbal infusions, locally pressed olive oil, vinegars, Algarve oregano, and a small selection of spices.

• And, of course, a jar of homemade jam, lovingly prepared by Raphaël using fruits from the Olhão market.

• In the bathroom: welcome toiletries, a hairdryer, and everything you need to feel comfortable and cared for.
